Another ideal time to visit St Lucia but be aware that if you’re looking to get way for Easter, you’ll be expected to pay higher prices due to demand. If possible to avoid, do so and you may grab a deal.
April
If you love getting in the water then April should be one of the months you to look to visit with the water at its warmest and temperatures up to the early 30s.
May
The official dry season has ended so you’ll find the humidity begin to creep up in May but it shouldn’t be too much of a problem for you to avoid completely. In fact, being the shoulder season you’re likely to bag yourself a deal if you look hard enough.
Held on the 4-12th of May, the St Lucia Jazz Festival is one of the oldest festivals on the island with local & international acts.
June
It’s the start of the wet season but visiting early in the month isn’t a bad idea as the rainfall is unlikely to affect your holiday too much. With the crowds lower, you’re can expect hotels offering some discounts to attract you to the island.
July
The increase in rainfall and humidity will continue into July and if you can, avoid the school holiday period to avoid the peak prices.
Carnival is Saint Lucia’s biggest party of the year and it falls in July. Expect colour and carnival bands in the capital of Castries.
August
School Holidays will increase the prices this month and unfortunately, the humidity is at its highest too. Expect similar levels of rain and temperatures to July.
Expect artists from the hip-hop, reggae and R&B genres at the Roots & Soul Festival held this month.
September
September & October is classed as hurricane season but the risk is very low. Humidity continues to be high and will be too high for some. Expect rain but temperatures will still be high.
Plenty of home grown delicacies will greet you during the Food & Run Festival celebration held this month.
October

It’ll be once again very warm but unfortunately it’s likely to be the wettest month too. If you’re looking for the best weather conditions and you can do it, perhaps hold off visiting for a few months.

Jounen Kweyol is an annual event held this month which pays homage to Saint Lucia’s Creole roots with amazing food, music and fashion.

Thankfully, it’s the end of the wet season but you can expect the odd shower. Weather will be warm and visiting this time outside of the school holidays is ideal if you’re looking to secure a lower price for your holiday.

Now is a great time to visit with the cold days in the UK and near perfect conditions in St Lucia. If you can, visit earlier in the month when it’s less busy and you’re likely to avoid the festive price hikes.
