Continuing on the from the beautiful January weather with even less rainfall this month.
Holetown festival normally takes place the second week of February and commemorates the first part of Barbados that was occupied by the English when they came to Barbados on the 17th Feb 1627. Expect a wide range of celebrations across the week.
March
As we approach the end of the peak season, you’ll see temperatures climb to the early 30s. Another great month to visit before the humidity begins to rise too much.
Every year Caribbean music fills the air and large crowds gather for the annual Fish Festival called Oistins Festival.
April
If you’re looking to experience beautiful warm weather and perhaps even bag yourself a bargain, April could be the month for you as we begin the shoulder season. You may see the very odd shower but it should not affect your overall holiday experience.
May
The amount of rain will start to increase, as will the humidity, though it will be warm and you’re likely to secure a discount with hotels less busy than the previous months.

June
Still very warm though the winds pick up and we are well into the season where you’re likely to receive some rain during your stay along with high humidity.

August
We’re bang in the middle of Summer now. This means high humidity, increased rainfall but warm weather and long sunny days.

The Crop Over Festival is one of the biggest events taking place in August each year commemorating when the slaves celebrated the end of the sugar cane harvest during the slavery period. This involves 6 weeks of events, competitions, parties and competitions.
Grand Kadooment Day which takes place on the first Monday of August. Everyone, including visitors are invited to get in the spirit of the day dressing up and involving themselves in the parade.
September
It’s warm but widely perceived as one of the least attractive times to visit Barbados. September is hurricane season and it’s likely you’ll receive some rain during your stay.

October
If you like rain (doubtful!), you’ll like Barbados in October as this month sees the highest amount of rainfall for the year. It’ll still be warm and humid but be prepared.

The Barbados Food & Rum Festival takes place on the 24-27th October and is a great time to visit the country if you’re interested in sampling the best of the local fare, despite of the weather.
November
The worst of the summer season is beyond us with November the start of when the humidity will begin to drop again and rainfall decrease.
On the 30th November 1966, Barbados gained independence from the UK and during this time of celebrations, you can expect many activities and celebrations to commemorate this significant day in their history. Expect to see everything dressed up in Blue & Gold.
December
If you can, get yourself here early for a chance to secure a lower price before the tourists begin to flood in for the holiday season. Expect similar weather to May so it’s not perfect but your holiday shouldn’t be too affected by rain.
