Temperatures are similar, with occasional rain or snow in the north. Venice and northern towns begin to buzz with the early festivities of Carnival, while cities like Florence, Rome, and Naples offer calmer streets for exploring art, architecture, and culinary delights. Early mornings are best for photography.

March

Spring begins gradually, with northern regions around 7–12°C and central areas 10–14°C. Gardens, countryside trails, and city streets come to life, making walking and sightseeing comfortable. Coastal regions begin to brighten, and rural villages offer a serene pace before the peak season.

April

Temperatures rise, often 13–17°C in the north and 15–20°C further south.
