February

Winter continues, but with slightly warmer days. The Ksour (Berber granaries) in Tataouine and the otherworldly landscapes of Matmata, famous for its troglodyte dwellings, are especially atmospheric under softer seasonal light. In Kairouan, Tunisia’s spiritual heart, visitors can admire the stunning Great Mosque while indulging in traditional makroud pastries.

March

Spring brings a welcome warmth, with temperatures rising to 19°C, making it perfect for exploring Carthage’s archaeological wonders or the stunning white-and-blue village of Sidi Bou Said. October

With highs of 26°C, autumn is one of the best times to visit Tunisia. The International Festival of Oasis in Tozeur celebrates desert culture with music, storytelling, and Saharan traditions.
