With May, beach season begins in earnest. Warm yet not too hot, the days are ideal for sunbathing or trying water sports. Calpe’s iconic Peñón de Ifach is particularly stunning this time of year.

June

June ushers in summer, with temperatures reaching the mid-20s. Beaches like Playa de Levante and Playa de San Juan attract both locals and visitors, while evenings are perfect for al fresco dining.

By July, the Costa Blanca is at its liveliest. With highs often hitting 30°C, beach days are a must, and waterparks such as Aqualandia in Benidorm are a hit with families.

August

August brings peak summer heat, but sea breezes keep it comfortable. Festivals like the Moors and Christians celebrations add a unique cultural touch to your stay.
