March

With March, the snow begins to soften, signalling the end of the ski season. However, springtime temperatures (ranging from 5°C to 12°C) make this an ideal month for soaking in the Caldea thermal baths or exploring Andorra la Vella’s boutiques.

April

April sees the landscapes shift as the snow melts, revealing lush meadows. Hiking trails such as the Ruta del Ferro become accessible, offering scenic views of the Pyrenees. Easter traditions, including processions and feasts, are celebrated across the principality.

May

In May, Andorra’s valleys burst into bloom, making it a wonderful time for nature walks and outdoor photography. The milder weather, around 10°C to 18°C, invites visitors to explore hidden mountain villages like Ordino and Canillo.

September brings cooler days, with temperatures ranging from 15°C to 20°C. It’s a quieter time to visit, perfect for exploring Romanesque churches or enjoying the autumnal hues in the Vall d’Incles. The grape harvest also begins, with local wines offering a unique taste of the region.

October

October ushers in crisp air and golden foliage, making it a picturesque time for hiking and photography. Andorra’s gastronomy shines with hearty dishes such as escudella, perfect for warming up after a day of exploring.

November

By November, the mountains prepare for winter, and temperatures dip to around 5°C to 10°C. This transitional month is quieter, offering a chance to experience Andorra’s serene landscapes and enjoy early snowfall in higher altitudes.
