Iconic Experience: Vancouver’s Sky-High Adventures
After being picked up in downtown Vancouver, an experienced guide will take you over the majestic Lion’s Gate Bridge to the Capilano Fish Hatchery, where you will learn about salmon spawning. Next, enjoy the Skyride to Grouse Mountain where magnificent views await, along with the resident bears – Cooler and Grinder. You can also discover some incredible chainsaw carvings and a birds of prey show. Top tip: be sure to try a ‘Beavertail’, a pastry shaped like the tail of a beaver, served piping hot with your choice of sweet toppings.
Afterwards, continue to Vancouver’s oldest attraction – the Capilano Suspension Bridge, suspended high above a magnificent canyon. Here, you’ll find traditional totem carvers, a nature park, and a historic interpretation centre. Take a short discovery walk through the old growth forest on suspended walkways with the unique Tree Top Adventure and, if that’s not exciting enough, the new glass boardwalk of the Cliffwalk attraction lets you “hang out” over the Capilano Canyon itself.
